Andy Cohen created a mess for himself earlier this week when he told Jenny McCarthy that he felt Kim Zolciak was the victim of a ‘gang up’ at the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion.
His defense of Kim contradicted what he said to her face during filming after she made several racially-charged comments.
Andy stopped by ‘The Breakfast Club’ on Thursday where he addressed the backlash he’s been receiving for spinning Kim’s ‘victim’ narrative.
According to Andy, he ‘misspoke’ when talking to Jenny.
“I shouldn’t have said that [Kim] was ganged up on,” said Andy. “Kim was not a victim in this. [The other ladies] were trying to hold her accountable and she was piss-poor at taking any accountability for anything. The conversation was going in a circle. When I said I wanted to walk off, it’s because I just didn’t have control of the room.”
