Actress, Mother… Author? Taraji P. Henson to Pen Memoir

Taraji P. Henson is looking to add “best-selling author” to her already impressive résumé.

The single mother of one, who’s had one hell of a year with the breakout success of Empire, signed a deal with publishing group 37 Ink and is set to release a memoir some time in 2016.

Although currently untitled, the memoir will center on her childhood growing up in Washington, D.C., being a single mother and her various roles in television and film.

We wonder if she’ll be spilling on-set secrets.
