SZA Wants You to Know She Actually Dated Drake in ’09: ‘I Didn’t Want Anyone Thinking Anything Underage or Creepy’

SZA took to social media to clarify rumors she once dated Drake while she was underage.

According to SZA, she did date Drake — but when he rapped about it in his new song with 21 Savage he got the year wrong.

The mixup prompted a bit of backlash after Drake was accused of dating SZA in 2008 when she was just 17.

SZA says they actually dated in 2009.

So It was actually 2009 lol ?.. in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered ?lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait . Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm.. it’s all love all peace ??? .
