The Passage
The Passage is a character-driven action drama based on Justin Cronin’s best-selling trilogy of the same name, executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Ridley Scott, that focuses on Project Noah, a secret medical facility where scientists experiment with a dangerous virus that could lead to the cure for all disease — but it also could potentially wipe out the human race. When a young girl, Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney), is chosen to be a test subject, a federal agent, Brad Wolgast (Mark Paul-Gosselaar ), is tasked with bringing her in, he becomes her surrogate father, determined to protect her at any cost — even as Project Noah’s work threatens to unleash an unimaginable apocalypse. True Detective
True Detective season 3 tells the story of the 1980 disappearance of a young Arkansas boy and his sister, and a mystery that deepens over decades. Oscar winner Mahershala Ali stars as detective Wayne Hays, who recalls the days and weeks immediately following the crime, as well as developments in 1990, when he and his former partner, Roland West, were subpoenaed after a major break in the case. What started as a routine investigation becomes a long journey to dissect and make sense of the crime. (HBO)
