We all knew when the decided to cast Zoe Saldana in the role of Nina Simone that some f*ckery would ensue.

Over the last year or so, we’ve seen photos from the set, we’ve heard critiques of Zoe’s singing, we’ve witnessed ALL the controversy — but now, we have actual footage of the film to pass judgement on.

Zoe, we love you girl, but this is a ‘no.’
