Lifetime is ready to cash-in on the fall of R. Kelly less than a year after dropping the explosive documentary that set things in motion.
‘Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning’ is a new six-hour documentary will air over three consecutive nights starting on Jan. 3.

The trailer showcases a number of interviews with the likes of Damon Dash, who proclaims, “Whoever’s acting like they didn’t know is lying.” R. Kelly’s ex-girlfriend Dominique Gardner, who has already revealed the abuse she suffered at the hands of the disgraced Chicago singer, also makes an appearance. The new episodes promise to look at the fallout of the first edition, and also teases further big revelations regarding the abuse he allegedly inflicted on so many women.

The first Surviving R. Kelly had a huge impact on public perception of R. Kelly, who promptly denied all the allegations. He was dropped by his label, removed from albums he was previously featured on, and placed behind bars. The first two episodes detailed his alleged relationship with the late Aaliyah, whom he was reportedly scared he got pregnant when she was underage, and claimed the singer slept with girls as young as 14. The third and fourth episodes went even further into the allegations, including everything from death threats to making his abuse victims pee in buckets.
