Angela Bassett received her third degree from Yale.

On Monday, the legendary actress received an honorary doctorate of fine arts.

During her time at Yale, she earned her B.A. in African American studies and completed her M.F.A. at Yale School of Drama just three years later.

This honorary doctorate is just icing on an already extraordinary cake!
