Tia, 43 — who starred in the 1994 ABC sitcom alongside her twin sister, Tamera — answered a few fan questions in her video. One question was, “Will there be a sister sister [sic] reboot?”

Mowry’s answer? A simple “No, sorry.”

In June, “The Game” actress told PopCulture she would love to do a new show with her wombmate instead of a “Sister, Sister” revival. “I think that would have to be the route,” she said. “You know what I mean? Just do something with us together and come up with some sort of creative, fun concept. I don’t know what that concept would be as of right now, but that would be so much fun.”

Fans have longed for a reboot of the ’90s series for a while. However, in March, Mowry told People that plans for a new series were “put on hold” at the time.

“What’s in the way is the rights,” Mowry told the mag. “We ended up moving forward with it and we didn’t have all of the rights in place — I guess there were still some legalities that needed to come into place that put it on hold.”

“And once that put it on hold, then Tamera and I are not just sitting around, you know what I mean?” she said. “She gets an opportunity, I get an opportunity — but yeah, it’s sad.”

“Sister, Sister” aired for six seasons, from 1994 until 1999 on ABC and the WB (now called the CW). Tia and Tamera starred as twin sisters Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell, who reunited 14 years after being separated at birth. The pair blended their families as they moved in together.

In October, Tamera looked back on the legacy of the show. “To see the younger generation loving it just as much as our generation did, it’s really cool to relive that moment,” she told People. “I think in a way [we’re] experiencing why something becomes a classic.”

“When I was doing ‘Sister, Sister,’ I never thought of it that way,” Tamera said. “But now, watching it and seeing my kids watch it — and they love it — you’re like, ‘Wow, we really did hit gold there.’”

Welp time to move on from that dream.
