It’s only its second week at the box office, but The Avengers is crushing the competition.
Marvel’s superhero blockbuster had the highest second weekend earning in box office history and is expected to break past the $1 billion mark worldwide. This past weekend the movie earned a whopping $103.2 million stateside and $95.4 million overseas.
After just 19 days, The Avengers will gross $1 billion worldwide after earning $373.2 million domestically, making it the fastest film to each $300 million.
