Essence just unveiled six (yes, six!) covers for its October issue, and it’s a #TGIT/Shondaland takeover.
Shonda Rhimes, Chandra Wilson, Viola Davis and Kerry Washington each nab solo covers, while the equally talented supporting casts of Grey’s Anatomy (James Pickens, Jr., Jason George, Jerrika Hinton, Kelly McCreary) and How to Get Away with Murder (Alfred Enoch, Aja Naomi King, Billy Brown) land the remaining two.
Fun fact: Chandra, Viola and Kerry have all earned Primetime Emmy Award nominations for their work on their respective shows.
