Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s war of words escalated on Monday following an episode of Nicki’s Queen Radio and Cardi’s subsequent response.
In one of Cardi’s video responses, she claimed that Diesel approached her to do a campaign that she passed on and eventually it went to Nicki Minaj.
In response, Nicki tweeted that she had “passed” on a campaign for Steve Madden. In late 2017 Cardi and Steve Madden announced the “Curated by Cardi” collaboration.
However, in a tweet posted from the company’s official Twitter account on Tuesday, Steve Madden straight up called Nicki a liar.

Steve Madden is the second fashion entity to get involved in this Nicki/Cardi drama. Earlier, Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackermann attempted to discredit Cardi’s claims of being approached by Diesel before Nicki — but Cardi clapped back with screenshots of her Diesel contract and Bill deleted his posts.
