Southside called out Lil Uzi Vert after a heated Instagram Live session between the Eternal Atake rapper and Yung Miami. Although Uzi later said he was just “playing with” the City Girls rapper, some fans found his demeanor disrespectful while he and Miami spoke on Live last night (April 1).

In an Instagram Live session of his own, the 808 Mafia co-founder told Uzi (with whom he previously collaborated on the track “Mood”) to stop addressing Yung Miami. Notably, Southside and Miami were previously in a relationship.

“Aye, Uzi don’t address nothin’ to my bitch, my n****,” Southside on Thursday night. “You handle your bitch , you stay on your side … You ain’t got one more time to say nothin to my bitch, n***a. I promise you I’mma punch your teeth out your mouth. Don’t say nothing else, n****. Nothing else to my bitch, n****. If you don’t like my bitch, don’t like my bitch. Let them do them. I don’t get in they shit, don’t get in they problems. Stay the little weirdo you is, n****. Keep rocking purses, keep doing that bitch shit you be doing.”

Later, Southside said he once “saved” Uzi from being robbed by Offset.

“I’m the same n**** that saved you from getting robbed from Offset and them,” he said. “Don’t forget that.”

Elsewhere, Southside urged Uzi to not “play stupid” and said he had the chance to “slap the dog shit” out of him at a recent party.

Prior issues between Uzi and Offset, presumably revolving around the latter’s criticisms of Uzi’s use of inverted crosses, were mentioned in Playboi Carti’s 2020 Whole Lotta Red cut “Punk Monk.”

As for the original IG Live that spurred Southside’s comments, Miami was seen in the video telling Uzi they’re “not friends and don’t have to be.” Uzi, seemingly upset, repeatedly criticized Miami while also calling her by her offstage name Caresha. According to Uzi, Miami’s City Girls partner JT—with whom he’s currently in a relationship—told him he was going to “make it worse” by his public comments.

In subsequent tweets, as mentioned above, all involved appeared to confirm there was no actual issue at play here. At one point, JT said she didn’t want Uzi saying too much “because he was drinking” at the time.
