Wanda Sykes performed a comedy set at a charity event in Boston over the weekend when she cracked a joke about president-elect Donald Trump — and the pro-Trump audience wasn’t feeling it.
“I am certain this is not the first time we’ve elected a racist, sexist, homophobic president. He ain’t the first one. He’s just the first confirmed one,” she said.
That’s when the audience began to boo.
Any other comedian would’ve been a little shaken — but not Wanda. She didn’t back down and instead cussed out the audience.
“F*ck you, motherf*ckers. F*ck all y’all. F*ck all y’all,” Wanda said. “How can you say he’s not racist? ‘Grab them by the p*ssy’? How can you say he’s not sexist? How can you say he’s not racist? How can you say he’s not homophobic?”
Eventually, the boos were overtaken by cheers from supportive audience members and the show went on.
