Ivana Smit, an 18-year-old Dutch model, was found dead and naked after she spent the night partying with American “swingers” in Malaysia.
She fell from the 20th floor of an apartment, nearly 140 feet down, and landed on the sixth-floor balcony of a building in Kuala Lumpur’s Jalan Dang Wangi district.

Ivana’s blood tests also revealed traces of alcohol, ecstasy and amphetamines in her system. Authorities said their investigation so far “shows no elements of foul play” in her death, but her father is urging them to look deeper.
In an interview with Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, Marcel Smit recalled how his daughter looked when he saw her body in the mortuary on Saturday.
“I saw bruises on her neck, like fingerprints — as if someone had grabbed her there,” he said.
Ivana’s loved ones said the last time they heard from her was around 7:25 a.m. Thursday, when she phoned her boyfriend to tell him she was with a married American couple after an evening out. The teen, who became a fairly well-known model in Malaysia after moving to the area from Holland, ended the exchange with a selfie.
Her father said he’d heard the wealthy American couple were “swingers” who routinely brought young models home with them to party.
The husband is reportedly a multimillionaire who trades in cryptocurrency.
Surveillance footage sees Ivana arriving at the building with the couple around 5 a.m. Thursday, according to the AD.
“At about 10 a.m. she would have fallen from the balcony at 20 floors high,” Smit told the Dutch news outlet. “How is that possible? It is strange that she was not found until 3 p.m.”
He continued: “She did not fall and did not jump either.”
Smit also pushed back against the couple’s claims that they slept through his daughter’s deadly fall.
“His wife had taken their four-year-old daughter to school and then went to sleep. They did not notice anything from Ivana’s fall,” he noted. “Very strange that the American couple does nothing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Ivana’s belongings were still in the apartment.
Her uncle also pointed out that many of Ivana’s belongings — including her shoes and underwear — were also still missing while Smit accused authorities of wanting to “close the case quickly.”
Smit said investigators have also ignored neighbors claiming to have heard fighting the night Ivana died.
The Dutch embassy in Malaysia has requested Interpol investigate concerns raised by the young model’s family.
Something seems a little fishy about this ‘fall.’ We hope Ivana’s family gets a full and thorough investigation.
