Say What Now? Florida Lawyer Disbarred After Making Porn Film with Inmates in Jail

A Florida lawyer has been disbarred for having sex with inmates in jail and recording the moments for a self-produced pornographic film.

Andrew Spark, 58, would solicit sex from incarcerated women and offer to put money in their commissary accounts if they let him use the footage for a porn video he called “Girls in Jail,” authorities said.

The high court found that Spark “abused” his attorney-client privilege to gain access to private jail rooms in two separate detention facilities “for his own prurient and/or financial interests,” the panel said in a recent disciplinary noticeshared on The Florida Bar’s website.

The newly disbarred lawyer previously pleaded guilty to bringing contraband into detention facilities and solicitation of prostitution. He’s serving a five-year probation that ends in 2024, the Miami Herald reported.

Spark was arrested in 2017 after he was caught “fully exposed” in a private room at the Pinnellas County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office.

The rooms where Spark chose to meet women for sex were not equipped with recording devices and only had a small window on the door. The aspiring porn star would then film the inmate performing oral sex on him while he blocked the small window by standing against the door, authorities said.

He would reportedly tell jail officials he needed to bring a camera into the room so he could be “efficient in the representation” of his clients.

“He duped the system because he came in there representing himself as a lawyer,” Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said at the time.
