Attempts to resuscitate the model failed, and she reportedly died on a helicopter while headed to a hospital in Athens.

The six-story yacht is owned by 87-year-old Mexican billionaire Alberto Baillere. The Australian reports he was vacationing on the boat and was set to head back to Mexico on Tuesday, but was not onboard at the time of McNamara’s death.

The death is reportedly under investigation, and no cause has been determined.

McNamara hailed from the beach town of Port Macquarie, but lived in Sydney, a little more than 200 miles away

The Sydney Morning Herald reports she’d been in Greece since mid-June, and also counted Bali, Alaska, and the Australian Whitsunday Islands among her travels.

Her Instagram was rife with scenic shots of Grecian beaches and open water, and she’d recently shared dozens of photos on Facebook from Santorini and Rhodes.

“Nice is life,” she wrote Aug. 25.

Prayers out to her family and friends.
