Robin Roberts kindly updated fans on the state of her chemotherapy treatment.
“The start of last week went well but the daily chemo/treatment caught up to me by the weekend,” she wrote in a post for “Good Morning America.” “My body is so weak but not my mind. YOU give me the courage to keep going.”
Tuesday will be her last day of chemotherapy before she receives a bone marrow transplant on Thursday.
Robin was recently diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood and bone marrow condition, shortly after her battle with breast cancer. Roberts will receive a transplant from her sister Sally.
Her treatment is expected to last several months, according to medical experts.
