Rihanna to Join ‘Bates Motel’ as Marion Crane

Rihanna is coming to our television screens.

Today at Comic-Con in San Diego, the producers of A&E’s ‘Bates Motel’ announced that Rihanna will join the show as Marion Crane, the victim in the famous shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.

The producers reportedly sought Rihanna out for the role after she professed she was a fan of the show in a Vanity Fair profile, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Rihanna confirmed the casting in a pre-recorded video sent to the San Diego event.

The fifth and final season of ‘Bates Motel’ will air sometime in 2017.
