Rebel Wilson Under Fire for Joking About Police Brutality During the VMAs [Video]

Rebel Wilson handed out the award for Best Hip-Hop video during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards after a rather bizarre and not-very-funny skit poking fun at police brutality.

“A lot of people have problems with the police,” Wilson said while wearing a cop costume. “But I really hate police strippers.”

She then ripped off the uniform to reveal a “F–k Tha Stripper Police” T-shirt.

“They come to your house. You think you’re getting arrested, and you just get a lap dance that is usually uninspired. I hate this injustice, hence the shirt,” she continued to joke.

It wasn’t long before social media popped off.

As of this writing, Rebel has yet to address the controversy.
