Rapper Too Short Flees Airport After Trying to Sneak a Loaded Handgun Through Security

If there’s one thing we know as modern-day Americans, it’s that airport security does NOT play around.

We don’t know what Too Short was thinking, but the rapper tried to pass a loaded gun through security at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, Calif.

Todd Anthony Shaw was passing through a checkpoint at the airport around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday “when a TSA employee noticed a carry-on bag passing through the scanner that contained a handgun,” Burbank police Sgt. Claudio Losacco told The Burbank Leader.

“Mr. Shaw left the concourse without his belongings, via an exit door, before he could be detained,” Losacco said.

The rapper returned to the airport Thursday with his attorney.

He reportedly was cited for having a loaded handgun in a public place and released.

We don’t even know what to say. DMX is really the only rapper we expect this type of sheer foolishness from.
