Porsha Williams has released a statement regarding her most recent arrest. Just a few days ago she was hauled off to jail after getting pulled over for speeding — while reportedly driving on a suspended license.
She attributes her reason for speeding to going to see her sick grandfather.
She writes:
“I was headed to visit my grandfather who is very ill with cancer in the hospital, and I was pulled over. I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk. I tried to explain the situation to the officer and show him that all my paperwork was in order, but he refused. Handcuffs are not comfortable or a good look for anyone. I was released, I have my license, my car, and my freedom.”
Ready to shake it off and move forward with her life, the former Real Housewife of Atlanta flew down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to attend her publicist’s wedding. The event took place at the Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa.
From the pictures, it looks like everyone had a great time.
Some of the guests included Porsha’s sister Lauren (of course), Miko Grimes, celebrity stylist Bradley Moreland & his fiancée Luis Miller.
