Omarosa Spills More White House Tea, Says Melania Is Sometimes ‘Repulsed’ By Donald Trump [Video]

Omarosa didn’t last very long in the White House, but apparently she gathered just enough tea to keep her name in the headlines nearly three years later.

Her latest claims, made Tuesday morning on a U.K. talk show, include that First Lady Melania Trump is sometimes “repulsed” by her husband and that the president will not want to leave the White House willingly, should he lose to Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the Nov. 3 election.

“It’s a very strange marriage, and I’m very cautious to comment on the dynamics of people’ marriage — you never know the inner-workings — but I’ve known this couple since they were dating,” Newman, 46, said in a Tuesday interview on British morning talk show Lorraine. “And in fact, they got married a year after The Apprentice aired.”

“What I’ve observed over the last 17 years … Sometimes they like each other and other times she’s repulsed by him,” Newman continued, going on to reference a viral moment from the final debate in which Mrs. Trump pulled her hand away from the president. “As we saw just on the debate last Thursday, he went to go and touch her hand and she smacked it away.”

(President Trump, who shares a certain over-the-top promotional style with his former Apprentice protege, has dismissed Newman as a “dog” with “zero credibility.” The first lady has previously waved off scrutiny about their marriage.)

As for next week’s election, Newman said on Lorraine that she believes Biden (whom she said she supports) will win. But she does not believe that Trump will accept the results willingly. He has previously said as much.

“I think that he will fight leaving office,” she said. “But, thank God, there are safeguards in place for a peaceful transition of power and so, as much as he may pout like a baby and throw a tantrum, there are forces that will be able to move and usher him right out of the White House and bring in new leadership, and in this case, I hope that it in fact is Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris.”

Newman has a turbulent history with the president, stemming from her stint on The Apprentice‘s first season, in which she became known as the prototypical reality television villain.

She later followed the reality show host into the world of politics, working as the director of African-American outreach for his 2016 campaign before being tapped to his presidential transition team and, in 2017, hired as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison.

But in late 2017, Newman was fired from her position in dramatic fashion, reportedly being escorted from the West Wing after being at loggerheads with the chief of staff, John Kelly, who delivered the axe.

A year after her firing, Newman released Unhinged, a memoir in which she made a number of alarming — and disputed — accusations, including that the president was in “mental decline.”

While she was promoting the book, Newman also trickled out a series of secret recordings she had made during her time in the White House, including one of her firing.

Her book went on to reach No. 1 on The New York Times‘ bestseller list, even as the White House labeled her a disgruntled employee and filed for arbitration, accusing Newman of violating the terms of a nondisclosure agreement.

Newman touched on the arbitration during her Tuesday interview on Lorraine.

“Unfortunately, you know, if you speak out and speak truth to power, as we’ve seen with every book written about Donald Trump, he will try to have an injunction,” she said. “And so, Donald Trump and his team of lawyers tried to stop the book from being published. But as you can see, not only did it get published, but it made the top spot on the New York Times bestsellers’ lists.”

Let’s be clear — Omarosa hasn’t said anything anyone with eyes and a functioning brain couldn’t gather.
