Rita Ora, who has yet to release an album in the United States, recently told The Sun that she’d love to remake LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” with Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX, and Iggy Azalea.
“It’s always been my goal to create another ‘Lady Marmalade’. I’m trying to round up the troops – I think it would be me, Miley [Cyrus], Charli XCX – she’d be fun – and Iggy [Azalea].”
Now, this supposed remake would follow not only the legendary LaBelle, but the equally-as-legendary 2001 remake by Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Mya and Pink.
Leave it alone, Rita. Don’t you dare!
