Last week, it was reported that the Spice Girls had plans to embark on a reunion tour across the U.K. and the United States.

Unfortunately, Victoria Beckham tells Vogue that she won’t be going on tour — and neither are the girls.

“I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour,” Victoria said during a preview of her autumn/winter 2018 collection at NYFW.

On the girls’ reunion last week, she notes:

“It was so great to see the girls. We had such a fun lunch. It was really, really, really lovely. I still speak to them all individually, but for us all to get together was really lovely.”

As far as what we can expect from the ladies, Victoria says nothing’s planned just yet.

“There’s something so strong in the message of what the Spice Girls stood for. What is that in the future? What does that look like? We were just bouncing ideas around. Brainstorming,” Victoria explained, glancing over at her collection lined up on rails for her NYFW presentation. “But this is what I do.”

Victoria also joked about the idea of a ‘Spice World’ sequel.

“Is that what you really, really want?” she joked. “I remember that movie. I was so upset when they made me wear that tight little army dress. And Harper Beckham, who’s only watched Spice World once, says, ‘Mummy, I love that bit when everyone’s in the really cool clothes and you’re in the tight little army dress!’”

Still, something will be happening with the Spice Girls — Victoria’s just not sure what.

“You know, there’s so much bad stuff going on, and the Spice Girls were about fun and celebrating individuality. I think there’s so much that the brand can do, and it’s such a positive message for young kids. What does that look like in the future? It’s not me in a cat-suit.”

So — there’s no new music, no reunion tour, and no ‘Spice World’ sequel? What’s the point of a reunion?
