To celebrate Pride month, Nickelodeon sent out a tweet that has the internet believing Spongebob Squarepants might be gay.

The tweet included three images of characters from the Nick roster: SpongeBob, Schwoz Schwartz from Henry Danger, and Korra from Avatar: The Legend of Korra.
Michael D. Cohen, who plays Schwoz Schwartz, shared that he transitioned from female to male about 20 years ago and Korra identifies as bisexual — leaving social media to speculate that SpongeBob is part of the LGBTQ+ community as well.
