An indictment alleges that Birdman and Young Thug conspired to kill Lil Wayne.
The indictment was filed last month in Cobb County, Georgia, and stems from the April shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus.
Young Thug’s tour manager Jimmy Carlton Winfrey was arrested on June 2 in connection with the shooting, and the indictment claims that he, Birdman and Young Thug were not only involved in a RICO conspiracy, but it alleges that all three are Bloods gang members.
Birdman and Young Thug were not charged in the April shooting, but Winfrey was indicted on six charges, including aggravated assault, criminal damage, criminal gang activity, possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless conduct and discharging a weapon near the street and terroristic threats and acts.
Birdman allegedly tossed a drink at Lil Wayne while he was performing in Miami earlier this week, while Young Thug was arrested yesterday for allegedly making terroristic threats at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this month.
