Gucci Mane celebrated his freedom at Dirty French on the Lower East Side on Thursday — and he did it completely sober!

His label, Atlantic Records, threw the Atlanta rapper a “Welcome to New York Dinner,” where he thanked music exec Todd Moscowitz for being by his side during his two-year prison stint for a probation violation.
Gucci told guests, “No more drugs, no more drinking.”
A source added, “He’s completely sober. He’s been in and out of jail for 10 years. He would’ve been a Jay Z– or Kanye-level act. He’s on fire right now and is becoming an even bigger deal [in New York]… He’s all about making record after record.”
Gucci premiered his new music video, “Gucci Please,” on Vogue’s Web site after his release drew “mostly fashion-industry types,” including Maxwell Osborne, to the dinner.
Music bigs Adam Lublin, Julie Greenwald, Craig Kallman and Moscowitz also filled the room.
The party continued at Up&Down, where Rihanna watched the rapper perform a medley of hits.
We hear Gucci’s gearing up for a big arena tour with several other acts in 2017.
We’ve seen Gucci go off the rails a few times — so if staying sober is his path to greatness, we wish him the best!
