The fashion industry is up in arms about Anna Wintour’s decision to feature Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on the cover of their latest issue.

‘The Original Supermodel’ Naomi Campbell popped in for a brief interview with Australian TV show, The Morning Show and was asked her thoughts on the controversial issue. being that she’s covered the magazine several times throughout her 30 year career.

She tried to get off easy by replying,

“I do not want to comment.”

But she couldn’t leave it there. She continued:

“I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years.  When you get a VOGUE cover, it’s a build in your career.  It’s a stepping stone to achieve that.  I’m a fashion model, so, what more can I say.”

The anchor pressed on,  “So you think Kim and Kanye haven’t earned the right to be on the cover?”

Naomi coyly answered:

“Those are your words, I’m being politically correct.  That’s Anna’s choice to put them on the cover of her magazine, who’s to question it.”
