Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter, 33-year-old E’Dena Hines, was stabbed to death just before 3am this morning. Her grandmother was Morgan Freeman’s first wife.

When police arrived, they found her ex standing over her lifeless body as he screamed incoherently, sources said.
Hines was taken to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
“The world will never know her artistry in talent, and how much she had to offer,” [Morgan Freeman] said in a statement. “Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.”
Her alleged killer was arrested and taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, officials said.
It’s unclear why the man snapped, cops said.
So sad.
