It’s been months since the Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion and new details are still surfacing.
Tory is currently being charged with allegedly shooting Megan in both feet outside a Los Angeles party back in July.
While we’ve gotten several details from Megan (and a few denials from Tory), more details have trickled out thanks to Megan’s new interview with GQ.
The profile opens with Megan, on the verge of tears, recounting the episode to writer Allison P. Davis.
After he shot, she says, Lanez begged her not to say anything.
She says he offered Megan and her friend money to stay quiet.
“[At this point] I’m really scared,” Megan says, “because this is like right in the middle of all the protesting. Police are just killing everybody for no reason, and I’m thinking, ‘I can’t believe you even think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me.’ ” (A lawyer for Lanez denied that the rapper offered Megan and her friend money.)
According to GQ, a lawyer for Tory Lanez denies that he offered Megan or her friend money.
