‘Bad Boys 3’ has reportedly been in the works for months, but after losing a director AND a release date — it doesn’t look like the film will ever make it to theaters.
“I don’t we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out,” Martin Lawrence tells EW. “Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
That’s unfortunate. Just last year Will Smith said that ‘Bad Boys 3’ was ‘very, very, very close’ to happening. Not only that, but ‘Bad Boys 4’ was also set for 2019.
We’re still holding out hope. It may take a while, but if the studio is already teasing release dates then they have good reason to make the films…right?
