There have always been rumors that Madonna and Tupac had a thing back in the day, but both parties were pretty much coy about what exactly that thing was. Well, now we know.
Madonna is currently making the rounds promoting her new album Rebel Heart, and she stopped by Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show to share some tea.
When asked whether she had an issue with David Letterman due to a few hostile appearances on his show during the 1990s, Madonna confirmed that she did in fact briefly date Tupac in 1994.
Peep her response:
“I was mad at [David Letterman] when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time, and the thing is, he got me all riled up about life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta.”
Well, there you have it, folks. We guess dating Tupac would make anyone feel “gangsta.”
