VH1 reality stars Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith are set to tie the knot on live television next month, and shortly thereafter – on August 31, to be exact – Mendeecees will face the music.
On Tuesday, Mendeecees pleaded guilty to narcotics conspiracy.
For seven years (from 2005 to 2012), Mendeecees heavily participated in a drug trafficking operation that moved cocaine and heroin to and around Rochester, New York.
As part of his plea deal, Mendeecees will face between eight and 10 years in prison and/or receive a fine of up to $5 million. In fact, all monies earned from his appearances on Love & Hip Hop have been and will be retained by the federal government.
As noted earlier, Mendeecees’ sentencing is scheduled for August 31.
