Louis Gossett Jr. is battling with a bout of COVID-19 and went to the hospital — but left because of its dire conditions.
According to sources, the 84-year-old got so sick he couldn’t even stand. He was transported to a hospital in Georgia where he stayed for a few days before voluntarily leaving. He was staying in the hospital’s COVID unit and all the deaths happening around him was too much to take in.
The hospital didn’t want him to leave citing his age and underlying health conditions, but he left anyway.
He is now at home recovering, self-isolating under the supervision of his son.
