Linda Perry is changing her tune when it comes to the comments she made about Lady Gaga not deserving her Oscar nomination.

As reported, Linda took to Twitter last night and basically called Lady Gaga out for not actually writing the song.

After receiving her fair share of backlash, Linda took to Twitter this afternoon to apologize.

My sincere apologies. I made a mistake to comment. I wasn't in the room when the #TIHTY was being written.

More importantly, I wish the focus to remain on the great importance of the song and the message of the film.

So far, Gaga has chosen to remain quiet.
