Lil Nas X and Megan Thee Stallion both had wildly a successful 2019 — and now they’re paying it forward.
In the midst of the country effectively shutting down major cities to combat the spread of the coronavirus, both rappers took to social media to offer their fans some financial help.
“Hey guys, drop [your] cashapp,” Lil Nas X tweeted. “Gonna send some of [you] some money to go get some food then stay inside.”
“Hey hotties,” Megan Thee Stallion tweeted hours before Lil Nas X. “Since y’all have been so hard [in] supporting me, I wanna support y’all and bless them pockets real quick!!! We’re [about] to have a #SUGASPREE! Drop y’all’s CashApp names [below].”
To be fair, Megan’s offer seems a bit like album promotion — but considering there are so many people unable at the moment the timing couldn’t have been better.
