Alison Ettel, also known by the internet as ‘Permit Patty’ told everyone she only ‘pretended’ to call 911 on an 8-year-old selling water after video of the incident went viral.
Newly-released audio of her 911 call proves that she, as we suspected, was lying.
“I have someone who does not have a vendor permit who is selling water across from the ballpark. Can I get someone to talk about that,” a voice can be heard saying in the call.

The call never made it to police — probably because the 911 operator had some sense.
