Lamar Odom honored his late father with a touching Instagram post.

The former NBA star, 41, thanked his loved ones and fans for their support after his father, Joe Odom, died last month.

“I appreciate every single one of you for sending me good energy,” Odom wrote in an Instagram post Monday. “Life is not promised. My pops and I had our differences but at the end of the day I knew he loved me and I loved him and that’s really all that matters.”

It appears that father and son had patched up their strained relationship before Joe’s passing. The two were at odds several years back when Odom’s then-wife, Khloé Kardashian, allegedly refused to keep paying Joe’s rent following Odom’s near-fatal overdose at a brothel in 2015.

“She disrespected me. She decided to kick me out of my home when Lamar was in hospital in Nevada,” Joe told The Post in 2016, saying Odom had previously covered his $4,000 rent for 10 years.

“I just wish I could be at his side in LA to support him, but Khloé doesn’t want me there,” said Joe, who said he had to leave his Los Angeles home for Brooklyn.

Joe, who was a veteran, said at the time that he couldn’t work because he suffered from PTSD and pneumonia.

In his Instagram post Monday, Odom, a recovering drug addict, spoke about the importance of making amends with loved ones.

“I encourage you to take some time and make amends with family and friends, tell someone you love them, smile a little more, laugh out loud, give your heart to those that deserve it because NOTHING is promised but death. That’s it,” the star wrote.

Odom, who has three children, concluded, “Now the work begins, I have a legacy to leave!!”

Odom’s mother died of cancer when he was 12 years old. The athlete was raised after that by his grandmother, as his father reportedly struggled with an addiction to heroin.

Sending condolences to Lamar and the whole Odom family.
