LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles man has been charged with sexually assaulting several women on separate occasions dating back to 2016.
Anshul Gandhi was charged with four felony counts of sexual battery. He denies the allegations.
The defendant, a doctor, is accused of sexually assaulting a 36-year-old woman at his apartment in October 2016. Two months later, Gandhi also allegedly sexually assaulted a 31-year-old woman at his apartment following a holiday party.
In July 2018, Gandhi is accused of another sexual assault after bringing a 27-year-old woman to his apartment. The defendant also allegedly sexually assaulted a 31-year-old colleague in December 2019.
Prosecutors are recommending bail be set at $100,000. If convicted as charged, the defendant faces a possible maximum sentence of seven years in state prison.
