It’s Juneteenth — a day of celebration and a day of historic importance to the United States.
‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Porsha Williams wrote a moving essay for Today.com, urging people across the country to embrace June 19 as day just as important as July 4.
E! News attempted to capitalize on the moment and share Porsha’s essay, but it’s clear that whoever they have on staff isn’t that well-versed in Black people — because he/she/they used a photo of ‘Basketball Wives’ star Jennifer Williams instead.

Do better, E!
Update: E! Has issued an apology to both Porsha and Jennifer.
This was a regrettable error. We sincerely apologize to both @Porsha4real and @iamjennifer and have corrected the image.
