Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita welcomed their first child together, the actor’s rep confirmed on Thursday.
via Page Six:
“Jesse and Justin welcomed their little bundle of joy, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita, on July 7, 2020,” a rep told People. “The new parents are overjoyed and excited for this new journey as a family of three.”
Page Six previously reported that Ferguson, 44, and Mikita, 34, were expecting in January.
“I’m actually expecting a baby in July with my husband,” Ferguson revealed on “The Late Late Show with James Cordon” at the time. “I’m very excited but I’m 44 now, I’m like, ‘Let’s get this show going.’”
After the reveal, the couple celebrated with an epic “S–t Just Got Real”-themed baby shower in February.
The sitcom star’s former “Modern Family” cast members Sarah Hyland and Sofia Vergara were in attendance, along with Lisa Rinna, Betty Who, celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin and Shoshana Bean.
Ferguson and Mikita got married in 2013.
