Jack Harlow is getting candid about his journey to sobriety.

“Haven’t had a single sip of alcohol in 2021,” he wrote in an Instagram post on Monday. “Going the rest of the year without it. Maybe I’ll never take another sip, who knows?”
The “WHATS POPPIN” rapper also admitted drinking was his “favorite vice” and he doesn’t like to smoke.
“If I learned anything this year it’s that I don’t need it,” he concluded.
Harlow, 23, expressed that while he doesn’t usually post long messages to Instagram and prefers to speak through his art, he did feel compelled to share his choice to go sober on social media.
“I don’t usually say a lot in my captions because it feels like anything worth telling y’all I should just put in my songs…but today felt like a good time for a life update,” he wrote. “I’m really grateful for how far we’ve come and I want you to know I appreciate all of you.”
Several of the artist’s pals flocked to the comments section to support Harlow’s choice to stay away from booze.

“YESSSSSSS ? PROUD OF YOU,” Dillon Francis wrote.

Harlow says that he plans to stay fully committed to his sobriety.
“I’m hungrier right now than I’ve ever been. I’m prepared to become a well-oiled machine to take this shit to the next level. See you soon,” he said.
Fans and friends of Harlow flooded the comments with support. Lil Nas X, Harlow’s “Industry Baby” collaborator, wrote “look at jack harlow man so inspirational.”
