ICYMI: ‘Empire’ Will Shift to 8 P.M. This Fall on FOX, ‘Star’ to Follow at 9

Empire and Star are on the move.

Although both FOX series will stay put on Wednesday nights this fall, Empire will shift to the 8 p.m. time slot, while freshman series Star will follow the flagship drama at 9.

FOX made the announcement at its upfront presentation earlier this week.

Empire was renewed for a fourth season in January, while Star scored a season two renewal in February.

With Empire leading into Star this fall, Lee Daniels will have his own night of television in the same vein as ABC with TV titan Shonda Rhimes on Thursday nights.
