An Iowa teacher is rightfully facing major backlash from her  school board after photos of she dressed in Blackface at a Halloween party.

Megan Luloff, who teaches first grade at Walcott Elementary School in Davenport is  “under investigation” by the Davenport School District for dressing as Lafawnduh from the 2004 comedy “Napoleon Dynamite.”

Considering there are photos of her online — like the ones we’re looking at — we’re not sure what’s left for the district to ‘investigate’…but we digress.

The wearing of blackface is never appropriate in any circumstance by any person,” Davenport superintendent Art Tate told the Quad-City Times.

The party was reportedly at an American Legion hall in Walcott and other guests of Luloff’s group were dressed as “Napoleon Dynamite” characters.

“I cannot clearly articulate how offensive and appalling it is to people of color,” said board vice president Linda Hayes. “In light of our recent developments within the district, this was in very poor taste, not to mention totally out of line with regard to professionalism.”

The Luloff photos come just days after NBC talk show host Megyn Kelly found herself in the hot seat on Oct. 23 for comments she made on her program “Megyn Kelly Today” after claiming there was nothing inherently racist about wearing blackface.

Halloween isn’t until next week and we’re already TIRED.
