Elle Varner took to Twitter to confirm rumors that she and New York Knicks player Iman Shumpert have officially broken up.

She hinted that things between the two may have been a little rocky in an interview a few weeks ago.
“Making a relationship public draws a lot of scrutiny,” she says. “It makes you think about something you were never thinking about before so I don’t know if I would advocate public relations to folks but hey, it is what it is. We’re good.”
It’s sad to see them split, but we all know heartbreak makes for excellent writing material!.Bring on that second album, Elle!
