Drake reportedly offered to talk a man down from his attempt to jump off of a bridge in England this week, according to the Greater Manchester Police.

The “Take Care” singer’s tour bus was stuck in traffic after he left his gig at the Manchester Arena, and the musician learned it was because a man was standing on the wrong side of the bridge’s barriers, the Manchester Evening News reported.

A member of Drake’s entourage approached officers and said the star was willing to try and talk the man down.

“He offered for Drake to speak to the male on the bridge, if that would help. The offer was declined with thanks,” Inspector Phil Spurgeon of the City Centre Integrated Neighbourhood Policing Team told the Evening News.

Just before 7 a.m. on Sunday, the man on the bridge was eventually brought down by authorities and hospitalized, according to the paper.

Drake missed the Grammy awards on Sunday to perform the Manchester shows.

He was nominated for eight awards and took two home for Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “Hotline Bling.”

How noble of him.
