It has been a few weeks since Derek Fisher overturned his Matt Barnes’ vehicle on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles, but he has officially been charged with 2 counts of DUI.
He was arrested on June 4 after he lost control of a Cadillac Escalade, slammed into a guardrail and flipped the vehicle. His girlfriend, Gloria Govan, was in the passenger seat.
No one was injured and the car’s OnStar system connected the couple to nearby highway patrol.

If convicted on both counts of DUI, Derek faces up to 6 months in jail. Because it’s his first offense, there’s a good chance he won’t go to jail at all — but instead will get probation + fines.
