Colin Kaepernick has officially weighed-in on Jay-Z’s deal with the NFL — and he does NOT approve.

For the last few days, Carolina Panthers safety and Kapernick’s longtime friend Eric Reid has been blasting Jay-Z for his new partnership with the NFL.

Following Jay’s press conference, Eric continued to sound off calling Jay “ridiculous” and accused the rapper of capitalizing off of Kaepernick’s loss. He also accused Jay of trying to ‘bury Colin’s career.’

Colin — who has been silent up until now — took to social media to thank the people for “having his back” and specifically Eric Reed.

“You never turned your back on me or the people, even when the nfl tried to silence your voice & the movement. You’ve never flinched or wavered. I love you Brother! Let’s get it!,” he wrote to Eric.

While he didn’t mention Jay’s deal at all, the fact that he aligned himself with Eric tells us all we need to know. Who would’ve thought 2019 would see Jay-Z & the NFL vs. Colin Kaepernick?
