Steve Stephens shot and killed himself early Tuesday morning.
According to state police, Stephens, who was wanted for the murder of 74-year-oldĀ Robert Godwin, committed suicide after he was spotted and briefly pursued by police in Erie County, Pennsylvania.
Stephens murdered Godwin in cold blood on Easter Sunday and broadcast his death on Facebook.
Stephens bragged about killing at least 15 others, but his claim has yet to be verified.
