JT took to Twitter this morning to properly clear up an assumed response to backlash over an old tweet.
Yesterday, a tweet of JT’s from 2018 surfaced in which she made a colorist comment about dark-skinned women.
As the backlash intensified, JT tweeted “oop my bad” which many assumed to be in response to the controversy.
Apparently, the two tweets were unrelated.
According to JT, she was merely subtweeting — but she then properly apologized for her offensive comments.

I barely was on Twitter last night a fan sent the tweet & I removed it sorry if I offended anyone I probably was arguing with somebody back then or some dumb shit. I don’t hate y’all or myself I just be talking shit!
